The Earlham Word is the perfect choice for advertisers who aim to reach young adults ages 17-26.  The Word is the sole student-operated press organization of Earlham College.  We print 12 issues per semester for an audience of 2,500 students, faculty, staff and alumni as well as members of the Richmond, IN community. To place an ad, contact our advertising manager.

Advertising with us

The Word is printed 13″ x 20″ sheets divided into six two-inch columns. We accept ads in EPS, TIFF, JPG or PDF format, or in clean black-on-white photocopy. However, our current arrangement with the Palladium-Item does not allow for color content.  We can also design advertisements. We are currently working to facilitate local-specific online ad placement, but this feature is not yet available.

Rates

For the print edition, our current open rates $5 per column-inch per issue.  Earlham campus advertisers  receive a 50% discount from our rates, not including deals.
