Thanks to all for one more semester
by María Salvador and Donnie Smith
The semester is coming to a close, and so is the Earlham Word. You are currently reading the last printed issue of the semester, although we are still publishing online. You should keep checking ecword.org for breaking news and to submit your opinions!
The editorial staff of the newspaper is proud of this semester’s progress. We feel that we have improved and we are proud of being able to fill our pages with articles and topics that are of importance to our readers. The opinion page, for example, has become what it is intended to be: a forum for the community to discuss important issues that affect us.
We are glad to see that the paper is improving, but we are aware that we still have a long way to go and lots of things to change. Want to help improve it? Join us next semester, or if you cannot, send us your input, ideas, suggestions, critiques … We want them all!
Finally, as managing editor and editor-in-chief, we would also like to thank the team that makes the Earlham Word possible for their hard work this semester. We had a wonderful, dedicated team this semester and we want to thank you all for the time, passion and energy that you have dedicated to this paper. Thank you all very much!
